Developing Pathways Realising Potential

Following a successful meeting in 2015, Te Ara Pūtaiao is pleased to announce a date for their next event, 3rd-4th October 2016SAVE THE DATE TODAY!

Māori have a strong and active presence in New Zealand’s primary industries, and the New Zealand government has identified key actions for realising the potential of Māori land and water assets through its ‘He kai kei aku ringa’ strategy and action plan.  One of the pivotal steps to success is encouraging engagement and understanding between the research sector and Māori organisations.

The aim of Te Ara Pūtaiao 2016 is to bring Māori and Crown Research Institutes (CRIs) together, provide a forum for groups to share knowledge and information and identify opportunities to support Māori growth through science collaborations.

The two-day symposium includes presentations by keynote speakers and expert scientists, research case studies and workshops designed to strengthen collaborative efforts to realise the potential of Māori land and water resources.
